July 4, 2026, was another day of sports struggles for our fighters. Part of our team took part in the BFN Federation tournament at the Moli club in Xàbia (Spain), promoted by Gimeno. Our club was represented by:
- Yassine Chihabe (Weight category 75 kg, K1)
- Samuel Uribe (Weight category 63.5 kg, K1)
Samuel Uribe was the first to enter the ring, facing Rayan from the Budda Aspe club. Despite his solid technical preparation, Samuel couldn’t win against a more experienced opponent. However, he gained valuable experience that will certainly pay off in the future.
Our next representative was Yassine Chihabe, who fought Leonardo from Orlus Gym. This was our fighter’s debut. The fight was very even, with a heavy exchange of punches and kicks. Yassine stepped into the ring fully focused and consistently executed the tasks given by his corner. Despite this, he had to acknowledge his opponent’s superiority and lost the bout.
The fighters competing in Xàbia gained priceless experience and fought their first fights. It was a good day for Arkadia, which will undoubtedly translate into the further development of our fighters and the club itself.
