The A1 Federation is an organisation promoting combat sports, in particular fights taking place under the Muay-Thai and Muay-Boran rules. The founder of the Federation is Arkadiusz Wełna from the Wełna Team group consisting mainly of Muay-Thai association fighters.
Team Wełna has organised many professional fights for numerous domestic and foreign titles, including the belts of professional Polish, European and World champions. Arkadiusz Wełna is the founder and president of the A1 World Federation, as well as the honorary president of the WKF federation and WKU Poland. He is also a promoter of many professional fights for WMC, WKF, ISKA titles.
The A1 Federation works closely with the Patriot Gym club (formerly Chinuk Gym) whose promoter is Dimitrii Piasetski. Woolnateam fighters also train in the Thai Pattaya Combat Village and the Dutch Megyro Gym.
The gala is supported by the City of Konin, with the honorary patronage of the event held by the Mayor of Konin, Mr Józef Nowicki. The gala is supported by companies such as Hotel Wityng, Hotel Pałacyk and BP Stations and many others.
The idea of this event is the goal against drugs and legal highs, which guides the organisers, and the official slogan of the tournament is: ‘Choose a healthy addiction’. The entire event will be broadcast by local Media – TV, Radio, Portals, Facebook, www etc.
